Family Hubs
Family Hubs provide support to families from pregnancy to the age of 19, or 25 if your child has special educational needs and/or disability (SEND).
Family Hubs offer a range of programmes and sesions for parents/carers whose child has SEND. This includes:
- Support for parents and carers of pre-school children through the Portage Service
- Programmes and courses to help you understand your child's needs and how best to support them
- Drop-in sessions where you can speak in SENDIASS about your child's education and how thier needs can be met
- Informal peer support groupswhere you can met other parents and share experiences
- Advice from Educational Psychologist at drop-in sessions
- Workshops offering advice and support around your child's hgealth and development, such as eating, sleeping and continence delivered by the 0-25 Growing Healthy Tea
